Dr. Neil Jay Rabin graduated from the State University of New York with a B.A. in Psychology after which he graduated cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Dr. Neil’s father, Dr. Bob Rabin, decided to become a Chiropractor at the age of fifty years old. He resigned his job as president of a women’s clothing company in New York City and began his studies at Life University.
In 1980, Dr. Neil was on the faculty at Life University in Marietta, Georgia and his father, Dr. Bob, was in his class and one of his students. Dr. Neil decided to give his father a final grade of “D” for Dad, but instead thought to give him an “F” for Father….In reality, his father earned an “A” for Abba (which means father in Hebrew). Dr. Neil and his father began their practice together on Cobb Parkway just minutes from Life University and two miles south of “The Big Chicken”.
Dr. Neil and his father called their office in Marietta Georgia “Rabin & Father Chiropractic Center”. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Neil was a professor at Life University for 23 years. He taught Chiropractic History and Philosophy classes as well as Clinic Proficiency courses.Dr. Neil and his family moved to Charleston, South Carolina after visiting the area for decades. His brother, Michael, and sister‐in‐law Edie, are the owners and founders of Andolini’s Pizza and Juanita Greenberg’s Nacho Royale Restaurants.
In his nearly 40 years of private practice and teaching Dr. Neil knows first hand that the body does the healing and that we aren’t born with “too many organs or a lack of drugs”. Health is not only an “inside job”, but it is a natural consequence of the uninterrupted flow of life. Keep the life flowing and “power turned on” with regular affordable Chiropractic care available at Cool Blow Chiropractic.
Dr. Neil doesn’t have to go far for his Chiropractic adjustments, as his wife, Dr. Judy, is a Chiropractor with a practice in Mt. Pleasant. Together they have three boys, Ben, a student at the College of Charleston, and two twin boys, Sam and Noah, both who are juniors at Wando High School.
Of course, the whole Rabin family stays healthy with regular Chiropractic care. Dr. Neil believes in family Chiropractic care, he always says, “the family that gets adjusted together, stays together”.
